I Am…

I Am

“What are the two most powerful words in the English language? The two most powerful words in the English language are I AM. Because what comes after I AM will shape your life. What you speak after I AM will control your decisions and shape your life.” – Fearless Motivation

For the last six months or so, I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching. I am (pun intended), determined to figure out what makes me tick. Funny, huh?

Who knows you better than yourself, right?! In my opinion, that’s not necessarily true.

Growing up, we’re surrounded by so many outside influences that we slowly start to lose our identity and start to judge ourselves tremendously. Thus shaping our thoughts and our subconscious. I’ve learned a lot so far on my journey but I recently came across this motivational speech that changed my outlook and gave me a better understanding. It made me focus on my thoughts – but more importantly, on what I was saying to myself on a daily basis.

The things I told myself always started with “I can’t” or “I want”. I realized that saying this really held me back in life.

I found that if you want anything out of life you have to be aware of your thoughts, make them positive, be direct with your intentions, and truly believe.

The universe wants to give you what you ask for and if you continuously talk about what you can’t do or what you want, then that’s what it will give you – more “wanting” and more “impossible” tasks. Instead of saying I want to be rich, say I AM rich. Instead of saying I wish I was successful, say I AM successful. The universe has no choice but to shift and make your thoughts a reality. Once you do this, you will start to notice the little things that point you in the right direction, and you’ll get PUMPED! You’ll be motivated to work extra hard for your goals (which along with the I AM, is the other key ingredient), and this will be the recipe that manifests your dreams.

What you say after I AM will truly shape your life for good or bad. Since you have the choice – you might as well make it a good one! Here are a few of my I AM’s that I repeat to myself when I catch my thoughts going into a negative direction.

  • I AM Powerful
  • I AM Strong
  • I AM Abundant
  • I AM Health
  • I AM Wise
  • I AM Blessed
  • I AM Beautiful
  • I AM Focused
  • I AM a Winner

Say your I AM’s everyday. You can’t just say it, you need to believe what you are saying. Feel them and repeat them over and over again until you KNOW them to be true. Let them soak into your subconscious. Doing this everyday has helped me tremendously and I’m already seeing results.
