It can be hard transitioning from the sunny days of summer to the overcast days of fall. But, I have found that the transition can be much easier if I have fun things to look forward to.

Below is a list of some of my favorite things the autumn season has to offer. Use this list as a guide for your own fall adventures, or use it as inspiration to create your own list of what you are looking forward to this season. This year I encourage you to joyfully leave your summer behind and get excited about the fall!

There is nothing like a hot bowl of soup to keep you warm in the fall. Not only are soups great time savers in the kitchen, but there are so many different kinds that it is hard to get bored. This fall I look forward to eating a lot more soup and chilli.

6. Outdoor Activities

Being outside is amazing for our health. The fresh air is rejuvenating not only for our bodies physically but for our souls as well. However, heat exhaustion is no joke in the summer which leads to a lot of time spent indoors. This fall I am looking forward to spending more time outside going hiking, biking, running, and playing sports. If you have been wanting to take your activities outdoors, fall is the perfect time to do so.
