INSPIRE: Operation Valentine’s Day

Play Video

Operation Valentine’s Day started in 2012 with two women and a couple Post-it notes. Operation Valentine’s Day is a community event where women and men go out to their cities to tell people they are loved. On a day when love is highly celebrated, many of us feel alone, unseen, and unworthy of love. Operation Valentine’s Day wants to come along side us and remind us of who we are. That each one of us are loved, that we are worthy, and that we matter. Operation Valentine’s Day is a representation of the power of showing tangible love to others, and how significant even one encouraging word can be. Operation Valentine’s Day reminds us that showing love does not have to be complicated, and that something as simple as a rose is significant and even life-changing when given with the heart of love and kindness.

Watch the video to find out how you can start your own Operation Valentine’s Day.
