Can you tell us your name and what you do, and something you love about what you do?
My name is Hannah Rose Pribyl and I’m studying to be an esthetician at Lytles Beauty college. There isn’t anything I don’t love about it. This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and now it’s my reality. I love that I get to help people in a way not everyone can. They trust me with themselves and their insecurities and it’s my job to make them feel as beautiful as they are. It’s something very sacred to me.
What do you love about your style?
My style has never been pinpointed to one look. I love being unpredictable. I can go from wearing a pink polka dot dress to fishnets and black ripped jeans. Growing up I was looked down on and judged a lot because I had colorful hair and facial piercings, but in that moment I wouldn’t have been who I was without those things, and I think that’s what I like most about my style. I say who I am and what I feel with my outfits.
Why did you pick the outfit you are wearing in this photo shoot?
I planned my outfit based off of two things: red and faux fur. Those are two things that make me feel powerful. Being confident has never come easy to me which is why I lean toward outfits that are bold.
How does this outfit represent you?
I think my outfit shows that I’m daring. It shows I have a lot to say and I demand to be heard.
What is your favorite part of getting dressed in the morning?
My favorite part of getting dressed in the morning is getting to create something new every day. Outfits are an expression and it’s my way to show people how I’m feeling.
What advice could you give to someone who wants to express themselves more through their fashion?
Be extra. I’ve lived my life always toning down my outfits because I was worried someone would think it was “too extra”. I personally don’t think that’s possible. I think everyone should be comfortable wearing what makes them feel good. Never underestimate the power of a good outfit.
